In modern society, people’s life is gradually inseparable from electronic products, and more and more people play video games. The development of games has led many entertainment industries to consider games to attract people’s attention. Is esports a sport?

E-sports players have no less intensity in their daily training than athletes in traditional sports.

For a long time, e-sports is often simply regarded as a kind of video games and entertainment. However, as a sport emerging in the global scope in recent years, e-sports has become a trend that cannot be ignored. In terms of industrial form, e-sports also has more and more similarities with traditional sports. Although not recognized by the International Olympic Committee, many are already betting on the future impact of esports on the sports industry.

The e sports sports of several major trends

The core chain of e-sports is still game – event – media – audience. In the link of the game, it includes the league/championship/other games – club/team – star player – ordinary team member.

The operation of esports is also largely controlled by game developers and operators, and the opportunity now lies more in event hosting

The Internet can solve some of the regional problems, but amateur tournaments need to solve the export problem, which is that participating in the tournament allows players to move up to professional tournaments, or other possibilities.

In my life, more and more friends have entered the e-sports industry, choose to go to game school for further study, or form a team to play professional games, gradually this has become their career.

Esports is not only valuable now, but also in the future, because it will slowly become a new sport. Esports will affect economic development, with global esports revenue of $463 million in 2017, a figure that will be more imaginative in the future.

In 2012, esports was even nominated for the 2020 Olympics. This makes more people see the prospect of this field. E-sports is being accepted by more people and is beginning to invade every field of life. Any scene may be transformed into a scene of participating in, watching and even consuming e-sports.

Regardless of esports’ status, there are many exciting developments for the activity on the horizon.
